Raffle & Auction
The Convention will hold a raffle and auction for individual railroad and model railroad related items. With this, there will be a variety of items to bid on. There will be opportunities to view the items up for bid prior to the final drawing of winners. Check with the Registration Table for information. Bidding will be by tickets purchased at the Registration Table. To bid on an item, you should drop one or more tickets (no limit) into a cup located with each item. The raffle will finish with a drawing for each item at the Saturday night Banquet. You must be in attendance to win!
Non-Rail Activities
A Project Linus activity is being held to make blankets for children in local hospitals or otherwise in need of comfort. The onsite activity will accommodate quilters, knitters, crocheters and those with no sewing experience. Participants can make single layer fleece blankets that can be completed by tying or crocheting around the edges on-site or during free time at the convention. Limited yarn and
supplies will be available at the convention center. Quilt kits, two sewing machines, and some batting and backing fabric will be available for sewists and quilters in the non-rail room. Donations of quilted, crocheted or knit blankets will also be welcomed. For blanket requirements see www.Projectlinuskc.org/blankets.

Prototype Tour
Details are now available for the prototype tour to Mid-America Car Inc. This will be a great tour of their repair and refurbishment facility. The Prototype Tour will be limited to 30 people, so register today to make your reservation early to not miss out. See the Prototype Tour tab for details.

Schedule updates!
There have been some updates made to the full Convention Schedule. The MCoR BOD meeting has been changed to 7am. Please check to see if these affect your selected events.
